Babies R us or Toys R us used to be our haunts to pick up toys or gift cards whenever we had to buy something for The Baby or gift something to babies of our friends. We had the 'same old same old' feeling everytime we entered those stores - stacks on stacks of toys, games and stuff, all within hands reach, but still we spent a lot of time to find ones that we thought would entertain and also gave some మెదడు ఎడం భాగానికి మేత.
All the same, there wasn't much we did about it - till last weekend. That's when we decided to raid a Border's store to make good of a 20% discount coupon we received after signing-up for a free customer account. And then we realized they carry some very good gift options for babies/kids at throw-away prices. Some of the books, playthings for babies were available for as less as $4.99, some knocked as much as 80% off the list price. Border's struck me as deal-seeker's haven.
Give it a try next time you have to pick a gift, you might find something good that doesn't hurt your చేజోలె too bad.
